We understand that your child may have known allergies. Allergies may be mild or they may be severe. No matter what your child's allergies might be, we want to know so we can provide help if an emergency were to occur. It can be scary for students to start school knowing they have an allergy and wanting to make sure they will be taken care of at school. We understand this fear and we want to help relieve fears, if possible. If you know your child has a severe allergy and needs a health care plan please contact the school nurse and fill out the Shepherd's Allergy Health Care Plan (below). If the student only has mild allergy symptoms please let the nurse know as well so medication can be left in the Nurses Office if necessary. Environmental allergies are also a concern at school as this can distract your child from learning and participating in class. If you know your child's triggers please keep an eye on the forecast and treat your child before school if they are affected by high pollen, mold, or other allergens.
