I never thought in a million years that I would be teaching at the same high school that I graduated from, but here I am.  I am very excited to work with the students and families of the Shepherd community.  After graduation from Shepherd High School, I went to Northwest Community College and got my Associate Degree in fine arts.  I then volunteered at a home for children with disabilities in California and decided to change my major to Elementary/Special Education and received my degree from Montana State University-Billings.  I worked at Senior High School for 6 years in the special education department before resigning to stay home with my two young daughters.  I returned to teaching special education four years ago and have been teaching at Riverside Middle School.
