Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Nicole Newell. I have been married to my husband for 5 years and we have 2 boys. They are 4 and 2 1/2. I have been teaching for 16 years, with my last 4 years dedicated to the students at Shepherd Elementary. I previously taught in Wyoming for 11 years before moving to Shepherd.
I look forward to meeting all of you and your wonderful children! 3rd grade is departmentalized, which means that each of us on the 3rd-grade team is responsible for teaching different subject areas. I teach math. I also work with Mrs. Allison Matthews, who is the ELA teacher, and Mrs. Sharon Clline, who is the science and social studies teacher.
